Laura Marie Breckenridge is an American actress and dancer who grew up in Flourtown, Pennsylvania. Before establishing her career on screen and stage, she trained extensively in dance with prestigious institutions including the School of American Ballet in New York City, the Royal Ballet in London, and The Rock School for Dance Education. As a young girl, she set a milestone by becoming the youngest performer ever to portray Marie in the annual production of The Nutcracker at the Academy of Music.

Transitioning into acting as a teenager, she secured early television and film credits before landing a role on Broadway in a 2002 revival of Arthur Miller's The Crucible. She later balanced her education at Princeton University with professional projects, eventually graduating with a degree in Classics. Her breakout television role came when she starred as college student Rose Sorelli in nineteen episodes of The WB drama series Related.

Over the years, she has built an impressive portfolio across film and television. Her notable film credits include independent and feature projects such as Southern Belles, Loving Annabelle, and Amusement. Additionally, she has made guest and recurring appearances on numerous popular prime-time network shows, including Gossip Girl, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Grey's Anatomy.
