Francesca Capaldi is an American
actress who first gained widespread attention as a prominent child star on
television. Raised in Southern California, she discovered her passion for
performing at an early age. She secured her earliest roles with guest
appearances on popular networks, including small spots on the Disney Channel
sitcom A.N.T. Farm and as a young Lily Aldrin on the hit CBS comedy How I Met
Your Mother, quickly establishing her knack for comedic timing.
Her breakthrough came when she was cast as Chloe James, the youngest sibling in
the main cast of the Disney Channel Original Series Dog with a Blog. The show,
which ran from 2012 to 2015, made her a familiar face to millions of young
viewers worldwide. During this period, Capaldi also transitioned into film work,
notably voicing both the iconic Little Red-Haired Girl and Frieda in the
nationally acclaimed animated feature The Peanuts Movie.
As she matured, Capaldi successfully transitioned into more mature, young-adult
roles, notably starring as Nellie Chambers in the drama web series Crown Lake.
Balancing her continuing passions in the entertainment industry with higher
education, she eventually pursued a degree in Public Relations and Advertising
at the University of Southern California. Driven by versatility, she continues
to attend major industry events and expand her portfolio across independent
films and television. |
