Hospital school in West Sussex, prompting her to pursue formal training at the
prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Her professional career quickly gained momentum when she graduated early to make
her National Theatre debut in The Rose Tattoo. Fielding rapidly established
herself as a formidable talent on the British stage, earning critical acclaim
and the prestigious Ian Charleson Award for her brilliant portrayal of Portia in

success seamlessly translated into television, where she initially landed roles
in major British programs such as Wallander, Doctor Who, and Black Mirror.
Fielding expanded her reach internationally by starring as Brooke in the
American CBS sitcom The Great Indoors alongside Joel McHale and Stephen Fry.
Returning to the UK, she achieved widespread recognition and acclaim for her
sharp comedic performance as co-host Jennie Gresham in BBC's This Time with Alan
