Charlotte Lawrence is an American
singer, songwriter, actress, and model who grew up in a highly creative
environment in Los Angeles. The daughter of television producer Bill Lawrence
and actress Christa Miller, she was introduced to a vast world of storytelling
and music early on. She began playing piano at age five and teaching herself
guitar as a preteen, rapidly developing a distinct passion for writing deeply
personal, melancholic pop music.
Her professional career took off in her late teens when she signed with IMG
Models and released her debut EP, Young, in 2018. Lawrence gained widespread
recognition for her moody, dark-pop aesthetic and powerful vocals, landing
high-profile projects like "Joke's on You," which served as Harley Quinn’s theme
song on the Birds of Prey film soundtrack. She further solidified her musical
signature with her self-titled sophomore EP in 2021, collaborating with major
indie and alternative producers.
In recent years, Lawrence expanded her artistic reach by stepping in front of
the camera, securing a recurring acting role on the Apple TV+ series Bad Monkey.
Musically, she reached a major milestone with the release of her highly
anticipated debut studio album, Somewhere, followed by a live album and
international tour dates. Driven by authentic, raw lyricism, she continues to
solidify her presence as a versatile force across both the music and television
industries. |
