Rose McIver is a New Zealand
actress who began her career at an exceptionally young age. Growing up in New
Zealand with a family background in the arts, she started appearing in
television commercials as a toddler and made her feature film debut in Jane
Campion's acclaimed drama The Piano when she was just three years old.
Throughout her childhood and youth, she balanced her education with steady
television and film work, including roles in local productions and Disney
Channel original movies.
She gained broader international recognition after landing the role of Summer
Landsdown, the Yellow Ranger, in the children's television series Power Rangers
RPM. Shortly after, she made a memorable appearance in Peter Jackson's feature
film adaptation of The Lovely Bones. Her career continued to ascend with notable
recurring and guest television roles, including playing Tinker Bell in the
fantasy series Once Upon a Time and starring in the romance film franchise A
Christmas Prince.
McIver achieved widespread leading television success starring as Olivia "Liv"
Moore in the supernatural comedy-drama series iZombie, which ran for five
seasons. Following that project, she took on the main role of Samantha Arondekar
in the CBS supernatural sitcom Ghosts. By steadily transitioning from a child
star in New Zealand to leading major international television series, she has
established a versatile and enduring screen career. |
