Jenna Marie Ortega is an American actress who began her career as a child artist, securing early television and film roles including appearances in Iron Man 3 and Insidious: Chapter 2. She gained initial recognition for playing the younger version of the title character in The CW comedy-drama series Jane the Virgin and starring as Harley Diaz in the Disney Channel sitcom Stuck in the Middle.

Transitioning to more mature projects, Ortega appeared in the second season of the Netflix thriller series You and earned critical acclaim for her performance as a high school student navigating emotional trauma in the drama film The Fallout. She quickly established herself as a prominent figure in the horror genre, starring in slasher films such as Scream, X, and Scream VI, as well as Tim Burton's fantasy comedy Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

Her international breakthrough came when she began starring as Wednesday Addams in the Netflix horror-comedy series Wednesday, a role that earned her nominations at the Golden Globe, Primetime Emmy, and Screen Actors Guild Awards. Beyond acting, Ortega published her first book, It's All Love: Reflections for Your Heart & Soul, in 2021 and remains active in advocacy and philanthropic work.
